Mendel Kastel - CEO Rabbi Mendel Kastel has been providing Rabbinic expertise to the Sydney community for over 20 years. Rabbi Kastel has taken a particular interest in social welfare, and has been the driving force behind various youth and welfare organisations such as Point Zero, WAYS (Waverley Youth Service) and J Junction. After 15 years of service at the Great Synagogue, Rabbi Kastel joined the Jewish House at the beginning of 2008. His efforts have seen the Jewish House grow and develop, becoming an expert provider of crisis services in the Sydney community. |

Matthew Lattin - Chief Operating Officer Matthew Lattin joined Jewish House in June 2010 as our Chief Operating Officer. After an extensive career in the corporate sector with the likes of Unilever Australasia and Sony Australia Matthew dedicated his career to working in the not for profit sector in 2002. Since then Matthew has worked predominantly with people with disabilities and kids and young people who are either homeless or at risk of homelessness. Matthew is working closely with Rabbi Kastel to ensure the vital services provided by Jewish House are able to meet the unprecedented demand and to work in partnership with local state and national welfare services and clinical agencies to ensure a long term sustainable future for all Jewish House clients. |

Mandy Manne - Psychologist Mandy Manne has been with the Jewish House since 2005. She is a qualified psychologist and has had over 20 years of experience in providing psychology services. She has previously run her own private practice and worked for many years in the disability section at Tafe. She has also worked at Jewish Care on the Personal Support Program as well as with people with intellectual disabilities. Mandy's years of expertise in counselling are an invaluable asset to Jewish House and its clients. Her approachable nature has helped hundreds of clients refine sheltered lives and achieve a sense of stability and security. |

Michael Herman - Psychologist Michael Herman is a qualified psychologist who joined the Jewish House in 2009. Michael has had a long career in psychiatric rehabilliation which involved psychometric evaluation and treatment of patients with a wide spectrum of psychological and psychiatric disorders as well as conducting research. His additional expertise in treating perpetrators of violence is invaluable in treating victims of violent abuse who are often clients of the Jewish House. He is also responsible for conducting data analysis and research. This research is an important source of knowledge when planning and allocating resources and programs at Jewish House. |

Hazel Mill - Administration Manager Hazel Mill is the administration manager of Jewish House. Hazel is the first face of Jewish House, meeting with all clients and working with them to resolve their needs. Hazel joined the Jewish House in 2009 after many years of successfully being employed as Rabbi Kastel's secretary at the Great Synagogue. Hazel now takes responsibility for the efficient running of Jewish House which is no easy task since it is an organisation that runs 24/7, 365 days per year. |
